It has been a rough start to the season but finally LA has begun to show some form. LA is currently in a soft rebuild and has been making moves to get younger and add some goalie depth. That goalie depth finally came through in a big win against Calgary this past week. The LA manager has stated that tinkering and trades will likely continue throughout the year and the team is taking it week by week. Will LA pull off another win this week? Is a big trade in the works? Only time will tell.

Breaking News: LA Kings
The LA Kings would like to thank all of their fan(s) who have continued to support the team during the season and current rebuild. Vegas, you are a wonderful supporter and we hope you will continue to support our team even after you receive Hughes or Kakko in this years draft.
Fan Question - A lot of people have been asking 'why the rebuild?'so why the rebuild? - H Berger
Answer - Well in short, the LA Kings management team had a long summer to think about what would make this upcoming year special. They did not feel their team was a playoff team in the current DHL landscape and thus felt it necessary to re-tool the team (plus it is fun trying to rebuild). What we didn't expect was how hard trading was, how unprepared our group was and how bad we are at it. Next year LA has two main goals. Continue with the rebuild and be more committed to the day to day operations that is needed to be successful in this league. The second one is dependent on how long the management team can hide from their wives to get the work done.
Final Thought - Next year LA has four first round picks and will look to continue to add picks and prospects throughout the season. So everyone be on watch, what is left of the LA Kings is available....just don't ask about Pastrnak.
