Minnesota accepts and looks forward to massaging "future considerations" into "Artemi Panarin"

Isn’t there some sort of special clause in the rules about “future considerations”?

We do have a no futures clause. You can have a behind the door handshake deal, but for the purpose of a trade it can’t contain futures. You can include a conditional 3rd etc, but it has to be something recordable so we can track it.

We're looking to finalize another deal in the next 48 hours or that will clean that up, so for sake of ease, can we leave as is for now?
I'm happy to screenshot the texts - josh texted me this morning about swapping 27 for 29, i said i can do it but dont want a toss away 3rd, so we pulled the trigger then started talking about what the future considerations will be so that we can keep the draft moving.
EDIT: This is by no means something that is gonna pop up two years after the fact, more so a place holder so we could do the deal and keep the draft progressing.
And we decided to put the words future considerations instead of a handshake deal, cause it would look weird if i just traded 27 for 29 lol

I’m good with that. For arguments sake just include the picks with the later deal or swap the players selected at 27 and 29 instead of the picks.
We will just hold off finalizing the deal until the futures have been determined.

We have the bones of the trade done but unfortunately both had to actually do some work but we'll figure it out ASAP
